What I’m Grateful For, by Diana (7 years)

“I’m grateful for artichokes,”
Diana said when I tucked her in one night.

“And I’m grateful for Nonno and Nonna because they made Dada,
and for Didi and Lili because they made you.

And I’m grateful for Italy
because they made pizza.”
